KeywordCracker
Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of KeywordCracker (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
KeywordCracker provides tools to discover related phrases from a seed keyword, review them in Explorer, Tree, and Map, save projects when permitted, and export phrase lists when signed in. Features and available discovery sources may change as the product evolves.
The Service is offered for professional and personal research use subject to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and must meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (and in any event not below the age set out in the Privacy Policy for children). You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
3. Accounts
Some features require registration. You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of unauthorised use of the account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or remain inactive where we give reasonable notice when practicable.
You may delete your account from the profile tools when signed in. Effects on project data and public links are described in the Privacy Policy and in-product messaging.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfering with security, rate limits, or availability of the Service.
- Scraping, bulk harvesting, or automated extraction beyond the interfaces and limits we provide, except with our prior written permission.
- Using the Service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
- Uploading unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content as seeds, project names, or other inputs.
- Misrepresenting KeywordCracker metrics as search volume, traffic, competition, or guaranteed ranking outcomes.
- Reselling or redistributing the Service itself without permission (exporting your own phrase lists for your campaigns or research is allowed).
- Using unofficial external endpoints in a way that violates that provider’s terms or applicable law; you are responsible for how you choose and use selectable discovery sources.
5. Your content and projects
You retain rights in the seed keywords, saved phrases, and other content you submit (“Your Content”), subject to licences that apply to third-party source material included in results.
You grant KeywordCracker a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, and back up Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (including provider caching and abuse prevention).
Project links may be accessible to anyone who has the URL. You are responsible for what you share and for not placing confidential information in projects you do not intend to be link-accessible.
6. Third-party sources and licences
Discovery may use Wikimedia content and APIs, a local index derived from Wikimedia dumps, and optionally unofficial Google Autocomplete. Wikimedia text is generally available under CC BY-SA 4.0, with additional terms possible. You must retain attribution and comply with applicable licence terms when you publish or redistribute material that includes that content.
Third-party services are not under our control. Their availability, results, and policies can change. Unofficial endpoints may break or block automated access without notice. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Intellectual property
The Service — including software, design, branding, and documentation — is owned by KeywordCracker or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as needed for normal use through the provided interfaces.
“KeywordCracker” and related marks are used to identify the Service. You may not use them in a way that confuses others about source or endorsement.
8. No volume or ranking promises
Metrics and scores in the Service describe structure within the collected suggestion or concept set for a run. They are not estimates of search volume, traffic, competition, conversion, or ranking probability. You remain solely responsible for marketing, SEO, advertising, and business decisions you make using the Service.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, providers, or the Service as a whole, with or without notice where permitted by law.
The Service is currently free. We may later introduce fees, paid plans, usage limits, or move some features behind a charge. Free access today does not guarantee that every feature will remain free indefinitely. If paid options are offered, pricing and any extra terms will be shown before purchase; unpaid access may then be limited to whatever free tier we choose to keep.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEYWORDCRACKER AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) TEN POUNDS STERLING (£10).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KeywordCracker and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your use of third-party discovery sources, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts where required by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
